Here are some of the most commonly asked questions we get from our customers:

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. 

We are licensed as a certified roofing contractor in the state of Florida and we carry general liability insurance to protect us and you.

How long does it take to complete a roof?

Roofing projects for residential homes typically take 1-7 days which depends on the size of your home and the extent of damage. Commercial roofs are usually much larger and therefore can take 5 days to even a month to complete.  If you need to know for sure just fill out our form and someone from our team will reach out to you to schedule an inspection of your roof.

How much will my roofing project be?

Doing a roof replacement/ re-roof (removing and installing a new roof) on a regular size, semi-flat home with basic asphalt shingles and normal wear and tear will usually range about $5k-10k based on the average cost estimates in Florida. Today roofing assessments still require in-person consultations for the most accuracy because more details need to be inspected such as checking the underlayment (the wood deck that the shingles are placed on) and flashing (the metal placement around the edge of roofs, chimneys, and vents) among other things.

Costs will vary greatly depending on roof pitch (how steep or flat your roof is), square footage(size of roof), materials used(such as tiles, metal, shingles, etc), any extra replacements (such as gutters, etc) and extent of wood damage underneath. That’s why we offer every customer a free estimate and consultation so you will know exactly what to expect in terms of cost before your project begins.

Can you tell me if I need a repair or a new roof?

Of course. The best way to determine your specific need is by reaching out to Neosun Roofing for a free roof inspection. We’ll perform an honest, thorough assessment and recommend the best roofing options for you. If it’s just a repair you need, that’s what we will propose to you.

Will I need to stay at another place during the project?

We do not require customers to leave their home during the duration of the project. This is a personal preference. You are welcome to stay in your home throughout the duration, but it may be a little noisy. Our roofers usually work from 7 am to evening time so you can still get a good night’s rest, but majority of our customers stay in their homes.

What if I have an emergency such as storm damage or other issues?!

We offer an extended hours call line just for our customers so you can contact your project coordinator from 6 AM to 10 PM, 7 days a week for emergency purposes. We understand that damage and concerns about your roof can happen at any time, so do not hesitate to call us or send us a text message when you are in need.

Does my insurance company cover damages to my roof?

Your insurance will cover catastrophes and storm related damage. At Neosun Roofing we will make sure you can maximize your insurance benefits by working directly with your insurance company to minimize the paperwork and back and forth on your end.

​Do you offer financing?

Of course! We know how expensive roof projects can be and sometimes it's not in everyone's budget, but when it is a necessity it can't be delayed. This is where our finance partners bridge the gap. We will work with them to work with you to cover your financial needs.
